Vandring

As one of the few still intact bogs of the Black Forest worth a recommendation in any case. Until 1100 AD, the bog could develop completely unaffected by humans. Even then, peat was never mined to any great extent, so the moor still grows - every year about one millimeter.

Vandring

A wooden boardwalk has been built through the entire moor to put as little strain on the moor as possible. There are a few benches on the path where you can take a rest.

Vandring

Covered with snow and trampled underfoot in winter, it becomes very slippery.
In summer, cyclists should park their bikes in front of the jetty. Otherwise it gets extremely narrow and the short distances are much nicer on foot anyway.
