The colorful front doors of Prerow are real eye-catchers. The tradition of this unusual door decoration began between 1790 and 1850, but only with one color. It was not until the beginning of the 20th century that the decision was made to give the doors different colors. Today, the front doors are popular photo subjects and delight every visitor as they stroll through the streets of Prerow.
