Church of St. Barbara is not located in the center but is situated on a hill about 4km from the center of Bedekovcina. It is surrounded by greenery and rises above a small square. Within the church, the parish priest Franjo Magdalenić founded the first elementary school.
On the plateau in front of the church, the blessing of the motorbike is traditionally held every year on White Sunday. On that occasion, several hundred motorcyclists and two-wheeler enthusiasts from all over Croatia gathered
