Vandring

This imposing church was built between 1887 and 1888. Architect Alfred Tepe designed a three-aisled cruciform basilica, with a semi-built-in tower above the main entrance. In terms of proportions, this is one of the most beautiful neo-Gothic churches in the Netherlands. The building lacks the massiveness that characterizes many Catholic churches from the late 19th century. It harmonizes well with the Dorpskerk a little further on.

The neo-Gothic cross church of St. Cosmas and Damianus was built according to the plans of the Utrecht architect Alfred Tepe. The inauguration took place in 1888.
There are 3 altars in the church: high altar, Maria altar, Joseph altar. The Marian altar contains a statue of Mary from the 15th century. The organ facade is from the 16th century. The altar cover is from the 17th century.
