After the merger of the municipalities, the population grew and so did the administration. The municipal staff moved to another room. After having fulfilled various functions, the building once again accommodated the leisure service of the municipality after a thorough restoration in 2011.

This neo-Gothic town hall, a design from 1860, initially also served as a justice of the peace for the canton of Brecht. It remained that way until 1970, when the tax inspectorate took up residence there. This former town hall is accessible free of charge by appointment.

This former town hall is a belfry-like building, with features that are reminiscent of both a church and a castle.
