In 1560 a small church was built on the spot where the altar now stands. Previously there was no church in Zuschendorf and the residents had to go to Dohna for services.

The church in Zuschendorf is particularly popular with bridal couples. Weddings are limited, so the demand here is all the greater.

Vandring

The building, constructed between 1559 and 1560, is a simple hall church with two wooden galleries built into the hillside long side, as well as an organ loft. In 1680, following devastation during the Thirty Years' War, the church was rebuilt and connected to the castle, and the tower was also built. The winged altar and epitaphs from the period have been preserved.
