At the border, on the road to Bergneudorf / Nová Ves v Horách, there is a memorial stone commemorating the death march of Sudeten German men from Komotau and other places. They were rounded up, and some were shot there or during the march. The Red Army refused these men to cross the border here; the train moved on to the Maltheuer labor camp (to the hydrogenation plant, the former Herrmann-Göring works). - Also a depressing story.
