Right next to the Deichgucker observation tower is the Torgauer Arche, a small petting zoo run by a social organization that is well suited to small children. After visiting the petting zoo, you can walk past the Deichgucker and continue straight on below the Elbe dike. Then turn off towards the Kirchenwäldchen, where you can reach a rest area with benches.
