At 3.3 miles long, Eastbourne Promenade is a hike in itself. Taking in cliff views, gardens, a pier, a bandstand and plenty of benches, it is a lovely place to walk and people watch.

Beautiful and very well-kept promenade. Wonderful plantings of tropical plants. What is a little strange, however, is that early in the morning the benches are occupied by homeless people. A sad state of society.

A definite highlight in Eastbourne is the wide beach and the pier.
It's really beautiful looking out over the water here.
