The café offers very generous sandwiches on bread of your choice, including gluten free, various sorts of cakes (the carrot cake is gluten free).

Starting point for our (and many more) great hike in Galloway Forest Park. Here you will find information, maps and a small café, as well as picnic tables and a (paid) parking.

Cykling
Glentrool is home to some pretty cool walking trails and mtb routes. I do find the purple route a bit 'samey' though but if undulating forest paths are your thing then go for it. Stop for lunch at the cafe too 🙏
