The church was rebuilt recently and is locked. You can look inside through the bars. I think the building is very successful.
The row of old tombstones is remarkable. You can no longer read the inscriptions. Rest benches and a crossroads from 1777 are still there.
But the real surprise is the so-called meditation labyrinth. A great place that unfortunately is right next to the road. But that's how it is.

The Dieterskirchel near Rülzheim is a Catholic pilgrimage site of the Speyer diocese. At the place of the church, St. Theodard of Maastricht (St. Diethardt) is said to have died a martyr while passing through in the year 671 or 672.
The first written mention of the Dieterskirchel in Rülzheim is in a report by Anselm von Lüttich from the years 1052 and 1056, which was attached to his story about the bishops of Liège.
