The Evangelical Lutheran choir tower church of St. Johannis in Muhr am See, built around 1200, is dedicated to John the Baptist. It was extended in the Baroque style in 1467, rebuilt in 1723 and given an onion dome as the spire in 1798.

From Wikipedia: The core of the choir tower church, which dates from the 13th century, was extended in 1467 and rebuilt in 1723 and given a baroque style. The tower has been crowned with an onion dome since 1798. The churchyard wall dates from the 17th to 19th centuries, the archway on the south side of the area from the 17th century. An interior renovation with replacement of the old windows was carried out in the years 1908-1910; At the end of the 20th century the church was renovated inside and out.
