Wonderful tea rooms and a great sense of community. Also toilet facilities are available for public use. A donation at the bookshop or a purchase won’t got unappreciated.

Ilam Hall is both a youth hostel and a National Trust attraction. It is a great base to explore Dovedale from with convenient refreshment facilities for the start or end of the walk.
