The Senftenberg ruins are a popular destination for cycling tours, especially because of their location above the picturesque vineyards in the Krems Valley. From the cycle path you have a particularly beautiful view of the castle ruins and the surrounding landscape. The view combines the historic flair of the ruins with the characteristic beauty of the vineyards that gently stretch across the hills. A detour is particularly worthwhile at sunset or during the grape harvest.
