Vandring

Bochum is better known for its city and the Bermuda Triangle. Away from the shopping and bar districts, the city is green and not nearly as hectic as one might think. The Weitmarer Holz in the heart of Bochum is the green lung of the district. There is also a game reserve here, where deer and wild boar feel at home.

Always nice to stroll through the Weitmarer Holz and say hello to the wild boars and watch them wallow in the mud!

Immediately afterwards I am offered a wild boar solo at the Jörgenstein game reserve. Not a soul can be seen on the closed paths at the enclosure, but all the more wild boar.
The subdued light certainly leaves a lot to be desired, but the "posing" of some black coats still produces one or the other photo worth seeing.
