Vandring
The Vermigel Hut is located at over 2,000 meters at the very end of the Unteralp Valley. The thick stone walls retain the sun's warmth, so you can sit outside until late afternoon and enjoy rösti, soup, or meat platters. The hut also sleeps 34 people.

Worth a visit! The Vermigelhütte lies at 2042 meters above sea level in the Unteralptal high above Andermatt and is a small and cozy SAC accommodation that inspires families, hikers and touring drivers in winter. Located on the “Sunnsbiel” viewing terrace, the hut is the starting point for a variety of rewarding hikes. It is also the starting point for numerous popular bike, snowshoe and ski tours on the main Alpine ridge and stage destination on the new 4-source trail. The hut can be easily reached on various well-developed hut paths or on an alpine road in around 3 hours.

Very nice SAC hut (SAC Zofingen) on a small hill with a good view. It is indicated on the signpost whether the hut is open.
