On the market square, right in front of the beautiful town hall around the market fountain, locals and visitors from the surrounding communities meet to stock up on fresh regional specialties.

The weekly market takes place every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. If Thursday falls on a public holiday, the weekly market will take place at the same time on the Wednesday before.

Vandring

The historic town center is formed by the market square with its churches, all within walking distance. The medieval structure of Bad Sobernheim is still recognizable in the townscape today. Sections of the old town wall still stand. Half-timbered buildings line the market square.
