Cykling
After 32 km, the Schutter River flows into the Danube here. It rises near Konstein and initially flows southward through the Urdonautal valley, before leaving this valley to the west near Waldau. Along its course, it feeds an extensive system of water ditches, where numerous mills once provided modest prosperity—a kind of economic stream, which also justifies the monument at the mouth. It's just a pity that the actual mouth consists of a simple sewer pipe.

Vandring
This is where Ingolstadt's former city river, the Schutter, flows into the Danube. The Schutter once had an important economic function in the city. She was later hidden underground. It rises near Wellheim and, according to the description, only has a drop of 27 meters on its 32-kilometer course.
