The Höllenteich, as well as the Steinhöfer waterfalls, the Teufelsbrücke and Herkules, are among the most beautiful excursion sites that I have hiked to. Shady in summer, beautiful in autumn, EVERYONE must have been here.

The Devil's Bridge is an arched pedestrian bridge in the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe.
The Devil's Bridge's bridge railing was cast in 1826 by the Henschel company; previously it was made of wood.
The Devil's Bridge and the Hell Pond got their name from the underworld, as the Pluto Grotto is nearby. According to a legend, Pluto, the god of the underworld, is said to have sat in this grotto.
At the time of the water arts, the water flows under the bridge into the Hell Pond, which is 10 meters lower and was created by Jussow in 1792/93.
