    Hartland Tor is not overly famous and is usually only visited by those en route to the picturesque East Dart Waterfall or Sittaford Tor. It is a lovely place to stop for a rest, though, and affords fine views over the East Dart River, White Tor and to Postbridge.

    Hartland Tor is one of the quieter tors on Dartmoor so it makes a good place to run to if you're seeking something off the beaten track. From up here you can enjoy wide open views across the East Dart River, to White Tor and to Postbridge.

    As its around 1.7km from Postbridge, you can summit a tor and back in less than 3.5km. Or continue your run towards the East Dart Waterfall.
