Vandring

The bastions of Solothurn are remnants of the Baroque city fortifications, which were completed around 1700 and parts of which are still visible today. The most significant surviving structure is the Riedholz Bastion (also known as the Riedholz Tower), considered the only complete Baroque bastion with a moat in Switzerland. It offers an elevated view over the city.
