In order to promote science and research in the field of paleontology in our region, we founded the Alberti Foundation with our plants in Ummenhofen and Wilhelmsglück together with 18 other shell limestone plants on April 17th, 1998. With the income from the foundation's capital, the Alberti Foundation supports individual projects and awards the Alberti Prize every two years.
