Vandring

The Forest Botanical Garden is one of the oldest gardens in Europe. Created in 1830 when the then Royal Prussian Higher Forestry School was established, it has been used for research and teaching of woody plants at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) since 1992.
With over 1,200 species of trees from all over the world, it houses a living collection of native and foreign trees and shrubs on eight hectares (80,000 m²) - an area for friends of botany and those looking for relaxation alike.

Vandring

These covered benches are located in the Eberswalde Forest Botanical Garden and are ideal for taking a break after a hike through Nonnenfließ and Schwärzetal. In any case, the forest botanical garden with its sometimes rare giant trees is a blast at any time of year and is completely free of charge.
