For many millions of years, weathering has been constantly eroding the rocks of the upper crust of the earth. This is how the streams have dug themselves into the mountain trunk. They were guided by geological structures such as cracks and dislocations in the rock structure. The water flowing down to the valley then exposed the Cambrian and Devonian layers of rock on the valley slopes of the Hill and our trail.

There are two beautiful large and clearly visible rock formations visible a short distance apart. During this period this was a special place to walk. After all, it doesn't get much sun and during our walk it seemed as if we suddenly ended up from a piece of spring land into a darker and colder winter landscape with beautiful icicles on the rocks and hoarfrost everywhere that cannot be chased away by the sun. And the river, which flows and continues to shape.
