Perhaps everyone has passed these washing areas before. You can actually find them in all places on the Camino in Galicia. While the local women used to wash there together, this tradition is seldom upheld. Washing machines can also be the norm here and many washing areas are in poor condition. That makes this place special, everything has been newly renovated.
