La Roche aux Chevaux is a viewpoint overlooking the confluence of the Our with the Lesse. It is also visible from below from the path along the Lesse.

Legendary tradition claims that in the past, old horses that were no longer needed were thrown into the void from there.

In reality, it was more the carcasses of dead horses - and not living animals - that were tossed from this rock and left to the greed of biters.

Nice light walk along the plateau of Redu and the ESA satellite reception center of Redu. Then along the Roche aux Chevaux at the confluence of the Our and Lesse. Then along the Lesse back to the starting point of the walk.

Beautiful viewpoint where the Lesse and Our rivers flow together. Careful on the rocks in wet weather, they can be slippery and it's a fairly deep drop.
