Vandring

Along one stretch, you'll enjoy magnificent views of the Remstal valley and learn a lot about the region's wine culture. Keep an eye out for the sculptures by artist Ludwig Heeß, which bring the winemaking life of bygone times to life. The circular trail, with its information panels about the variety of grape varieties, is also great.

The Kreaba man, the woman with grass gaang or indulgences: the Schnaiter Wengerter and hobby artist Ludwig Heeß carved the life of winegrowers in the past in sandstone. With attention to detail, the sculptures are a lively expression of the work in Wengert. On the path, which leads with a difference in altitude of around 80 meters through the vineyards high above the Schweizerbachtal, visitors gain new insights into the centuries-old cultural landscape. In addition, panels provide information about the variety of grape varieties grown here.
