Built as a medieval mansion just outside Stadthagen, in the twelfth century by the noble knight Mirabilis von Broke, the Bruchhof has an eventful history.
In 1732, in possession of the Counts of Schaumburg, the old walls increasingly fell into disrepair. Since 2007, this historic gem has been extensively restored by the project Probsthagen in cooperation with the participants and created an innovative meeting and communication center.
Café Bruchhof is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
