Vandring

Events are now taking place in the castle with a long history (information board in front of the bridge over the moat). It can only be visited with a guided tour. You can find the dates for this on the information page for the castle: bad-groenenbach.de/kultur-sehenswertes/bad-groenenbach-erleben/uebersicht.html

But there is a way around the castle and it is already worth seeing from the outside. From up here you also have a beautiful view of the surrounding area and city.

The gardens at the palace are well worth seeing. There are also some nice places to rest.

The High Castle is the landmark of the Central Swabian Kneipp spa town of Bad Grönenbach in the Unterallgäu district. It stands on a steep mountain outcrop on the western edge of the village on a Nagelfluh rock.
