The brick facade then opens to a small, single-nave interior, and among the baroque decorations, the church houses paintings by the most famous painter of the 18th century, Andrea Barbiani (1708-1779), such as Sant'Apollinare and San Romualdo, The Virgin, Antonio da Padova and Francesco di Paola, whose brother Domenico Barbiani (1714-1777) helped design the facade and the baroque apse.
