One of the most beautiful places in Ticino! Alpe Nimi not only has a fantastic location high above Lake Maggiore, but is also perfect accommodation for all hut hikers! Pietro has been running the Alpe since 1998 with perfect hospitality and delicious food from his own production. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. The goats are cute anyway. And the most beautifully situated bathtub in the entire Alps is also available here. Everything is just right here. Further information about the Alp can be found at capanneti.ch/de/huetten/nimi

The Capanna di Nimi is an ideal stopover for mountain runs between Maggia and Verzasca Valley: always good for a coffee and a chat and equipped with a pump for crystal clear water. Ascent from Maggia for hikers about 5 hours, with brisk mountain running just under 2 hours.
