Vandring
The Heinrich Gith Steig leads, occasionally also in the fall line, through a tree landscape typical of the Vienna Woods. It is a thoroughly romantic climb in all seasons. But since the Schöpfl belongs to the sandstone Viennese forest, boggy passages are to be expected, especially after more intense rain phases.

Vandring
The shortest ascent from the parking lot at the Gasthof-Forsthof leads past the Icelandic horse center and from now on the Heinrich-Gith-Steig (steep forest climb) in easy serpentines to the Schöpfl shelter. Where the Gith and Pensionistensteig meet, there is a spring with drinking water. A bit longer, but less steep, you can reach the Schöpf hut and the summit of the Schöpfl on the so-called "Pensionistensteig". Walking time: 50 to 60 minutes.
