The Church of St. Zacharias in Venice is one of the jewels of the City of Canals. The temple is well worth a visit. But the set awaits you with a surprise. Under its subsoil it hides under an old crypt that has flooded the water of the canals. The reflections of ceilings and columns in the still water are incredible.

Vandring

The Church of San Zaccaria holds two treasures. The beautiful church in the Castello district looks very simple inside. However, the dark paintings on the wall are anything but that. The most beautiful Renaissance painting hangs in San Zaccaria. There is also a crypt under the church. Since San Zaccaria is near the sea, this crypt is under water all year round.
