Vandring
Curragh Chase includes over 300 acres of rolling parkland, hiking trails, mixed forests, lakes, and an arboretum. This planned landscape was the former seat of the de Vere family, whose most famous representative was Sir Aubrey de Vere, a poet and writer. The facade of the former large house sits proudly on the hill and overlooks the main parking lot and the artificial lake. There are many wonderful testimonies to the de Vere estate to discover in the park, including the impressive arboretum, a pet cemetery and a memorial cross.
