    Rosenau Castle is located in the middle of a beautiful park in Unterwohlsbach, on the outskirts of the urban area of Rödental near Coburg, Bavaria. It is the birthplace of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who later became the consort of Britain's Queen Victoria. Today Rosenau Castle is used as a museum.

    Worth mentioning is that it is Rosenau Castle and not some "castle". Castle and adjoining farm buildings are restored, castle can be visited. Extensive park with water, glass museum and restaurant / café.
