The two mighty towers of the parish church of St. Andreas determine the appearance of the Leverkusen-Schlebusch district. Together with the "little monastery" - that's what the Schlebuscher call the former St. Elisabeth hospital built in 1904 - the old chaplain and the rectory built in 1830, the church forms a listed ensemble in the heart of the district.

The two mighty towers of the parish church of St. Andreas determine the townscape of the Leverkusen-Schlebusch district. Together with the "little monastery" - as the people of Schlebusch call the former St. Elisabeth hospital built in 1904 - the old chaplaincy and the vicarage built in 1830, the church forms a listed ensemble in the heart of the district.

In September 2016, the parish of St. Andreas celebrated the 125th anniversary of the consecration of their parish church. The church, consecrated on September 23, 1891, is the third parish church of St. Andreas in the Schlebusch area.
