A very authentic and impressive theology of liberation!
The pictures tell a story from entrapment (by money, consum, politics and religion) via enlightenment to serving love, communion and liberation. You will find out which images show which topic. They are painted by some Spanish painter and accompanied by lyrics by a Brazilian missionary, who became friends through this work.
And the whole is the Camino of life which can be even more important then the Camino de Santiago!

The hostel La Cabaña del Abuelo Peuto is a private hostel exclusively for pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago with credential, located in the small town of Gümes, on the route of the Camino del Norte.
An entire institution on the Camino del Norte, the costs of maintaining the hostel La Cabaña del Abuelo Peuto are fully covered by the responsible contributions made by all people (pilgrims and non-pilgrims who use the facilities of the hostel).
There is no institution or organization, official or private, that collaborates financially with the hostel. It has an extensive library.

You definitely have to stop here. If possible, spend an extra day here. The spirit of grandfather Peuto lives here. Here you may meet Ernesto who built this home with all the volunteers to live a special spirit here.
