The village church was built from 1696–1697. It belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church Community of Sebnitz-Hohnstein

Vandring

The church acquired its current appearance during its renovation between 1696 and 1697. The renovation of 1696/97 was overseen by the then pastor, Daniel Stürz; a picture of him still hangs above the entrance to the sacristy. A special feature of the church is the altarpiece, depicting the scene in which Abraham is supposed to sacrifice his own son as a sign of his loyalty to God, but an angel prevents him from doing so at the last moment.
