    Unfortunately, there is only little left over from the former castle. However, you can climb over a ladder to the ruins and get to see a unique view of Aesch.

    From the ruin Engenstein offers certainly a great view! Since I was traveling with a dog, I could not climb up. For the ascent via Schalenberg cave I recommend good shoes and sure-footedness.
