More than 60 figures and vases, 24 of which are originals, give the baroque garden a special charm. Who the creators of the works of art are, is handed down only incompletely. It is very likely that the sculptures "Four Seasons", "The Four Continents" and "Four Elements" go back to the court sculptor Johann Christian Kirchner, the eight lovers of mythology to Johann Benjamin Thomaes. The admirably detailed sculptures are impressive testimonies to the heyday of Saxon sculpture in the Baroque period.
