From the higher plaza Miramar with the observation tower Torre del Miramar you have a wonderful view of the mountains of Morocco. On a clear day, the African continent seems close enough to touch. The fountain with its colorful tiles, unfortunately without water at the moment, is reminiscent of Arab gardens. Next to the square is the town hall of Tarifa (Ayuntamiento).

Although Tarifa has many beautiful hidden spots and plazas, the Plaza del Viento is a popular meeting place, as the view of the sea from here is particularly beautiful, although often quite windy. The name says it already.
