From the viewpoint "Hirschensprung" offers the hiker a beautiful view over the market Kasendorf. You could also reach the Friesenquelle from here on a well-developed path along a gorge.

Vandring

To get straight to the point: The best thing is the climb up from the Friesenquelle. But it is not a "well-developed path" but a tough stair climb with concrete sleepers, which also runs along a steep slope for a while at the top (60 m). So not for strollers or poor walkers! :))
Be careful not to miss the turnoff to the path to the lookout point at the top, otherwise you have to walk along the dirt road. I'll put some pictures of the climb and path in there.

I cannot understand that there should be no view from this place. Even in Söhni's photos you can clearly see that a view over the rooftops of Kasendorf is possible. Maybe that's actually a problem in the summer months when the foliage is on the trees. I was there in February 2020 and had a wonderful view of the valley.
