South of Wertholzlagers Entersweilerfeld and north of the railway underpass into Hungerbrunnental stands as a reminder of a mill this Ritterstein. The mill was in the period between the 12-13. and later in operation in the 18th century. Parts of the mill was until 1954 a tourist restaurant.

Vandring

This is one of over 300 knight's stones from the Palatinate Forest Association and indicates the following: There used to be a Roman estate here, then a Franconian hamlet and later the village of Entersweiler. - In 1715 there was still a mill here.
Summer linden trees were planted here in the middle of the 19th century: see “Natural Monument “Entersweiler Linden” directly behind the Ritterstein.
Much later there was an excursion restaurant here (demolished in 1954).

Vandring

In 1715 there was still a mill here. The small-leaved limes still standing there are remarkable. The place names Entersweiler Mühle, Enterweiler Hof, Enterweiler Feld and Entersweiler Weg are reminders that an entire village once stood here. The place developed from the former Roman estate via a Franconian hamlet of Nanthari, Nanthriswilari, Nenterswilre, to the village of Entersweiler, which soon died out. As early as 872, a Frankish duke Nanthari from the Salic family is mentioned with his wife Kunigunde, who donated the village of Nentersweiler to the monastery of Münster am Donnersberg.
