Navia is a prosperous council located in the western Asturian marina. Bathed to the north by the waters of the Cantabrian Sea, it is limited to the east by the council of Valdés, to the west by that of Coaña and to the south by that of Villayón.
The town of Navia is the capital of the council. It is strategically located at the mouth of the homonymous river, at the bottom of a navigable estuary, which has been and continues to be one of the keys to its strength.

Vandring
In the former market town there is a lot of activity and so there is a lot to see. Sit down with your provisions in the park by the river and watch the trains crossing the bridge or sit down at the small harbor and watch the fishermen repair their boats a little bit.
