Mountainbiking

The church was built in 1798 (using a raised Gothic spire at what is now the eastern end as the steeple) and extended westward on two axes in 1924. The hall has a three-sided closed choir. The richly decorated side altars and the high altar come from the Cistercian monastery in Stürzelbronn (Lorraine), which was abandoned in 1790. Extensive renovations (inside/outside) in the early 2000s and restoration of the side altars in 2017.

The church has an electro-pneumatic organ by the Speyer organ builder Paul Sattel, built in 1952.

Vandring

The ceiling painting "The Last Judgement" is a copy of the altar fresco by the German painter Peter von Cornelius (1783 - 1867) in the St. Ludwigskirche in Munich. It was restored in 2000 by the famous church and fresco painter Hermenegild Peiker, who specializes in the reconstruction of past works.
