Nice little town with many possibilities to stay overnight, restaurants and cafes or just to stroll through the alleys and the harbor. From here you can quickly take the beautiful bike path along the coast and make day trips in the surrounding area, e.g. Kivik or Stenshuvud.

Small and fine harbor town with street cafes and restaurants in the pedestrian area. This leads from the harbor to the square in the center, where you can also find the church of Simrishamn.

Vandring

The approx. 800 year old Church of St. Nicolai is located in the city center of Simrishamn. The first written mention of the church comes from 1161, when it was probably just a small fishermen's chapel consisting of the present choir. The nave was completed in the 13th century and the vaults were completed in the 15th. At the end of the Middle Ages, the armory and tower were built. The exterior of the church was changed in 1953 when the plaster was removed to reveal the original quartzite facade that gives the church its exterior character today.
