On a high cliff above the eponymous Cliff House and overlooking Ocean Beach to the South and Land's End Park to the North that see more visitors, Sutro Heights Park is usually very quiet, with great views from both tree shaded as well as sunny lawns and gazebos.

Sutro Heights Park, in San Francisco’s Lands End area, stands above the ruins of the grand public saltwater swimming pool complex that once stood there. Adjacent to Adolph Sutro's seaside mansion, the Cliff House, Sutro Heights Park provides a scenic area with parts of the original garden and mansion's foundation. The park's elevated location offers truly breathtaking views of the coastline and surrounding area.
