Pittenhart wood sculptor Marco Bruckner erected a new sculpture in Maxlrain on behalf of a local resident. The 1.80 m high sculpture is made of ash and is a chainsaw work. The Bishop of Freising can now be admired right next to the car park. The figure represents the 19 bishops who have been responsible for Maxlrain for almost 400 years and who, as patron saints, have ensured the well-being and prosperity of the community.
