Vandring

The Kolbenberg is 690 meters high. On top of the summit is the striking telecommunications system, which was used until 2007 by the US Air Force. Since the withdrawal of the US military, the mast is used by civilian radio services, such as for mobile communications. A memorial stone commemorates the former US military personnel. At peak times, up to 150 soldiers were stationed here.
