Vandring
The War Museum in Seoul consists of 6 individual exhibition halls, a combat experience room, a projection room and an outdoor area with large military equipment and sculptures. Particularly well-known is the statue of the brothers.
The statue of the brothers, located in the southwestern corner of the Museum's open-air exhibition, symbolizes the Korean War and the hope of reunification. The statue depicts a scene in which the eldest son of a family, a South Korean soldier, and his younger brother, a North Korean soldier, meet on a battlefield. Her embrace expresses reconciliation, love and forgiveness.

Vandring
The War Memorial of Korea is huge and really worth a visit. Inside, it stretches across three floors packed with artifacts—everything from tanks and planes to uniforms and weapons—showing Korea’s history of conflicts all the way up to the Korean War. Outside, you’ll find massive memorials along with rockets, aircraft, and even naval ships, which make for an impressive sight. It’s free to enter, with English signs, guided tours, and exhibits that are easy to enjoy whether you’re solo, with friends, or bringing the family.
